Changes in seasons
Then the Lord said in his heart, "While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night, shall not cease." -Gen 8:22It was sad for me to go from being the sound engineer to bassist and being an engineeer was good but a bassist is better. It's even worse for me to leave as a bassist because I feel crappy, yet I know this change is going to be even more awesome. When plants are pulled from where they are rooted, of course it hurts them. However, there is a bigger pot for them to grow in. I guess the plant has been planted and is now starting to take form. It's going to be an exciting year for me and so I can't wait. It's almost towards the end of my nine months of interns and I guess this is my labor pain. Glory to glory.
By the way, what makes it more exciting is that Nicole is playing the bass (My first bass student.) I'm more happy for her playing the bass than me playing the bass.
